Marina Paris

Marina Paris expresses her artistic research through different means of representation and different media: from video animation to drawing, from photography to site-specific installations. The interest in architecture - intended as a filter for the perception of the surrounding space and as a system of relationship between man and the environment - invades almost all of her works.

Urban and domestic scenarios are often the main subjects of her photographs or the starting point for site-specific installations. Basically, they become the linguistic code through which the artist speaks to humanity, though never revealing their presence. As collective references, the architectural components become for the artist anthropological tools useful to investigate the identity of contemporary human being.
